chillin in Miyamoto musashi’s closet

I’m over here just chillin on soundcloud right? and then i hear this lyrical gem that has some pretty cool traditional japanese influences too it. Seriously i’m a big fan of lyrical hip hop hardcore so i can dig this, Big shouts out to BigNick PearlCity and Portz on the beat. Check it out and feel the those lyrical vibes yo.

In the traditional stories of japan Miyamoto Musashi was a Japanese swordsman and rōnin. Musashi, as he was often simply known, became renowned through stories of his excellent swordsmanship in numerous duels, even from a very young age. He was the founder of the Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū or Niten-ryū style of swordsmanship and the author of The Book of Five Rings (五輪の書 Go Rin No Sho?), a book on strategy, tactics, and philosophy that is still studied today.

Also in the mean time while people are busy doing a whole lot of nothing go check out my art page. I’m working on a skateboard painting that i’m putting into the local skatepark where they’re having an art show for the first time. super stoked to be in it heres some progress

  1. I have not read it for the longest time so I could be completely wrong, but Miyamoto was not also a character in Takehiko Inoue’s manga called “Vagabond”?

  2. Thanks for following my blog, Valkoinen poni, and since I happen to have it in my bookcase, Miyamoto IS the vagabond in Inoue’s ‘Vagabond’. 😀 Anyhow, I have to return to your blog one of these days. Lots of interesting stuff here!
